Organization Progress and Settings

Photos and videos can be organized to have thumbnails generated and faces and other objects sorted into categories. Files can be organized to be searched by their file name in Amber Folder. By default, Amber X will prioritize organizing the internal storage over the external storage. External storage organization can be prioritized by disabling the internal storage organization. Face Recognition and Object Detection can be disabled to speed up photo organization. All of these processes work simultaneously and may slow each other down.

From the Home Screen, go to More Options → Organization Progress and Settings.

The Organization Progress and Settings screen will display:

• Total number of photos, videos, faces, and objects organized.
• Total number of files organized by file name.

Settings

Photo and Video Organization

Enable/disable organization for internal/external drives. Furthermore, folders can be specified to have their contents organized or not.

Smart AI

Face Recognition: photos with the same faces will be grouped together.

Object Detection: photos with certain objects (ex. sports, toys) will be grouped together.

Manage Categories: choose to enable/disable specific object detection.

Photos

Show Duplicate Photos: enable/disable showing duplicate photos in My Photos.

Files

File Organization: enable to have files organized in order to be searched.
