Amber iX Desktop: Remote Mount (macOS)

Note: Only one folder or USB folder can be mounted at a time 

A folder or external USB drive can be mounted for remote access in Finder.

Requirements

• A compatible macFUSE version from the macFUSE home page 

1. Download and install a macFUSE version that is compatible with your macOS version. For additional information please visit the macFUSE official wiki: Mac Fuse Getting-Started
MacFuse is a third‑party system extension. We do not control it and cannot be responsible for any impact on your Mac. Please use at your discretion.

2. On the Amber iX app and navigate to the directory to mount in My Amber → Remote Drive.

Note: Only one folder or external USB drive can be mounted at a time.

3. Click Apply. The directory will now be accessed remotely in Finder.

To unmount a drive, go to Remote Mount → Unmount.
