Adding New Users to Amber X

Note: You must be on the same network as Amber X to invite a new user and your AmberCloud account must be the admin.

Users can be invited to share the storage of Amber X. Users will then be able to log into Amber iX and backup data on their mobile devices and computers. Each user will only have access to their own files unless there are files being shared, except the admin. The admin ultimately has access to all users' files on Amber X.

1. Go to Settings → My Amber → More Options → Manage Your Amber.

2. Verify the password. This will bring up the Settings Dashboard. Tap Other Users.

3. Tap + → enter email address → Send invitation.

Note: You can invite up to 7 other users on your Amber X, 8 total including the admin.

4. An email will be sent with instructions.
