How do I turn off Indexing Services?

Turning off AI or Indexing services will drastically improve Amber X backup performance if you see high CPU or Memory usage.

1.) Login to Amber X OS

2.) Navigate to Control Panel

3.) Navigate to Indexing Service

• Turn off "Photo and Video indexing"
  • Uncheck "Enable Internal Photo Indexing"
  • Uncheck "Enable External Photo Indexing"
  • Click Apply

• Turn off Photo Organization
  
  • Uncheck Enable AI Photo Organization
  • Click Apply
