Can I expand the storage on Amber X?
Yes, you can plug in an external drive using the USB port and/or install an SD card on Amber X to expand storage capacity. We support most of the major brands in the market. For most compatible USB drive format for Amber X OS, MAC OS, and Windows OS, we recommend exFAT.

*APFS: Apple File System replaces HFS+ as the default file system for iOS 10.3 and later, and :
Apple File System replaces HFS+ as the default file system for iOS 10.3 and later, and for macOS High Sierra and later. It is currently not supported by Amber X OS.
If you would like to connect multiple USB drives, please use a hub with an external power source to connect. This will avoid power consumption issues with the Amber X.
