What is a Shared Folder?

Shared Folders are folders available to all Amber X users to share, view, upload, and download data. The Shared Folders Music, Photos, and Videos are created by default. The admin can create/delete more Shared Folders.

Important Note: Users first must allow remote access Shared Folders in order to access them in the mobile Amber iX app. 

1.  Log in to Amber OS as admin. 

2. Open File Explorer.

3. There are 2 options when sharing, you can share the entire parent folder or an individual subfolder.

4. Once you select the share option, you will see the following pop-up, you can insert an email to share with only specific current users or to invite a user to create an account to share.

Both options allow for you to set an expiration date for the share. Once ready you can click the share button and will see this notification...
