Playing Music using third-party Apps

In addition to the built-in music player in Amber iX, third-party music player apps such as VLC that can access devices on the local network can also be used. Please note that unless the files are downloaded to your device, they will only be accessible while on the same network as Amber X.

  I have been trying to get VLC on my Windows 10, AppleTV, and Chromecast to play videos and music files stored on my Amber ix and have not been able to because every combination of domain/username and password I have tried did not work.  The instruction says to type in domain;username and password so I typed in ATARIC64;mytestusr12@gmail.com for user name and Pa$12345### for password. I got access denied. What seems to be the problem? Is there a problem with the syntax? Please provide me a step-by-step instruction to use Windows or AppleTV VLC to play videos stored on my Amber ix.
