remote-access via web browser

Hello,

is there a regular way to access Amber X remotely? I'd like to upload files f. i. from my work-computer using a web-browser surface. I cannot install the desktop app on my work-computer.

Do I have to upload anything through the Amber cloud? Does anyone have a solution for this purpose?

  Hi Marc, can you clarify whether your unit is in your local network at work or is the unit remote?

  Amber X has a web interface known as Amber X OS, and you can access it locally on your network by following this article: https://support.myamberlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049043471-How-do-I-log-in-to-Amber-X-OS-

  If you would like to access the Amber X OS remotely, you will need additional configuration. Be aware there is some risk involved in port forwarding: https://support.myamberlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048256052-What-is-UPnP-
