AmberCloud Service Alert: July 29, 2021
On Thursday July 29 we experienced an unplanned outage. We are experiencing some internal network issues in our AmberCloud and working to resolve them. Your device and apps may be experiencing connection issues right now. We will provide an update soon or when the service comes back to normal. Thanks for your patience.
Rest assured, your data is still safe on your amber device and remote access of your data should resume after the cloud service goes back to normal. However, if you notice additional anomalies please contact our Customer Support Team.
We apologize for the disruption in your daily use of Amber during this unexpected outage.

It does not make sense that the Amber X device stops working when the AmberCloud is not available. As a personal cloud device supposed to be designed to be used 'in the privacy of your home' it should work even without the need of an Internet connection.
