TimeMachine Backup to USB attached storage

When can we expect TimeMachine access to any AmberX USB attached storage?  I have ~4 Macs in the house and purchased a large multi TB external USB storage appliance only to find out that I cannot access it for TimeMachine backups. :-/. Thanks.

  Hi Benjie, Time Machine to NTFS external USB storages is now supported in Amber X OS 1.24.5.

  Thanks.  My drive is formatted as exFAT, I assume there won't be support for this so I'll need to re-format to NTFS for the TimeMachine option?
