Installing WebDAV

The WebDAV protocol enables a webserver to behave like a fileserver too, supporting collaborative authoring of web content.

Web URL

AmberAnywhere URL

Volumes

/AmberPRO/WebDAV/data to /data

Setup Steps

1. Enter a username and password when you click install.

2. Enable AmberAnywhewe.

3. Download RaiDrive from: https://raidrive.en.uptodown.com/windows/download

Follow the instruction to install RaiDrive.

Click Install and wait for the installation to finish.

4. Setup New Drive

Run RaiDrive, click Add.

Select NAS and click WebDAV. Enter AmberAnywhere URL, username, and password. Path set to /. Click Connect.

Then the WebDAV folder will be mounted to your PC. You can copy files here.

You can find your files on NAS. AmberPRO/WebDAV/data

5. Browse files by using a web browser.

Go to AmberAnywhere URL. Then enter the username and password.

Then you can browse the files.

AmberAnywhere Settings

The protocol must be HTTP and the port must be 21480. Public URL can be either HTTPS (recommended) or HTTP.
