Installing Homey

Homey users can control and monitor Amber device(s) through the Homey App.

Web URL

No web GUI.

You need to install Homey on your cell phone and install the Amber iX App in Homey.

AmberAnywhere Settings

The protocol must be HTTP and the port must be 3000. Public URL can be either HTTPS (recommended) or HTTP.

Install

1. Log in to Amber OS as admin and open PRO Tools. Go to APP Store and install Homey. No other steps are needed on the web interface. Rest is done on your mobile device. 

Setup Steps

1. Install Homey on your mobile device.

2. Click Get Started to create Homey account.

Follow the instructions step by step.

Login to your Homey account.

3. Add new Homey.

Create a new Home.

Select your Homey.

4. Install the amber app via https://homey.app/en-us/app/net.amberpro/Amber/

On the mobile app, click More [bottom-right] Apps

Then you can see Amber App is installed.

5. Add your device.

Click Devices  Add my first device.

Select Amber.

Select your AmberPRO model.

Click Connect.

Click Continue.

Enter the AmberAnywhere URL and amber admin password here and click Log in.

Then your amber device is added.

You can select your Amber.

Here you can see the status of this amber.
