Installing VSCode (Home Assistant add-on)

AmberAnywhere Settings

This app doesn’t need to be enabled in AmberAnywhere.

Setup Steps

1. Install VS code. Setup your password.

Enter the password to log in.

Then, you can start a project.

You can choose “extensions marketplace” to install the product which you want.

2. Integrate with Home Assistant

Add the panel setting and URL path which includes your device IP to the configuration.yaml of HA (Home Assistant). The port number must be 8443. The format you need to key in is like the figure below. You can edit it by using the “Config Editor” function in HA. Now, you can choose “VS Code” on the left sidebar to use VS Code.
