Installing MQTT Broker (Home Assistant add-on)

Mosquitto is an open-source message broker that implements the MQTT protocol versions 5.0, 3.1.1, and 3.1.

AmberAnywhere Settings

This APP doesn’t need to enable AmberAnywhere.

Setup Steps

1. Install MQTT integration.

Select Configuration → Device & Services.

Click ADD INTEGRATION.

Search MQTT and select MQTT.

Enter broker address.

Click FINISH.

Then you can see MQTT in your integrations.

2. Test MQTT broker.

Click MQTT CONFIGURE. Enter a topic, Payload, listen to the topic and click START LISTENING

Click PUBLISH and then you can see a message is received.
