Installing and setting up Home Assistant

Note: Bluetooth on the Amber device is for device setup only, not available to use for home assistant. Home assistant will require a seperate third party device to connect to home assistant devices. 

1. Enabling Amber Anywhere for accessing Home Assistant app remotely: 

   1. Go to subscription > Select “Setup Amber Anywhere” 

   2. Fill the text fields with your details and click on Apply. 

   3. Once you fill with details you can see url as below.  PRO Tools -> App Store.

2. Search for Home Assistant on the app store. Click on the install button.
3. Once the App is installed you want to click on the Manage button.
4. Once on the manage page select the Amber Anywhere tab. Then click on the add button. 
5. After you open the pop up to add the container you will see this, on this screen you want to select the correct container then select the URL. You have the option for the Amber URL or to use your own domain URL. Once selected click apply. 
6. After this you can go to Container Apps. Next, select home assistant -> URL to access Home Assistant. Web URL for accessing home assistant - http://device_ip:8123.
7. Once you click on the private URL link. You can see the Home Assistant page to access Home Assistant. 

Accessing Home Assistant: 

1. Setup your account and password. 

2. Setup your location and time zone. 

3. Then you can see the home assistant dashboard.
