Setting up FTP with Reolink Cameras

Reolink cameras offer a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) service to upload your video and image files to a host server. With the AmberPRO, you can set it up so that these images and videos can be uploaded directly to your AmberPRO!

What you need:

• AmberPRO
• Pure-FTPd
• Reolink Cameras

Install the Pure-FTPd container app from the PRO Tools APP Store

Input your AmberPRO's IP address and click "OK". You may change the username and password to a more secure login credential.

Note that the port for the FTP is 2021. Now, go to your Reolink Camera's FTP configuration and input your AmberPRO IP address, the port number 2021, and your login credentials for the Pure-FTPd container.

You can test the connection and then save this configuration. Once you have it saved, you can view your images and videos in the AmberPRO in the following folder:

Local Common/AmberPRO/Pure-FTPd/

To view these files anywhere from the Amber iX app, please click the Export button seen at the top when selecting one folder. Alternatively, you can also export the entire AmberPRO folder's contents with the Export AmberPRO button. After doing so, you can find the exported folders in your Amber iX app.
