Backing up Google Photos

To backup Google Photos, we recommend using Google Takeout.

1. Select Google Photos.

 

2. Scroll down to "Next Step".

 

3. Choose the type, frequency, and destination.

 

4. Google will email a link to download the photos. Please note the files will be zipped and they do need to be unzipped for Amber X to be able to organize and generate thumbnails.

  Hello Roshan, 

  Currently this is not a feature that is available in the IX apps. This article will give you the option we provide to backup google photos, unfortunately this is not a sync option. https://support.myamberlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408520214285-Amber-X-OS-Importing-Google-Photos

  Google Takeout is less than ideal option. It is a backup/ data move feature. I would love to see a way to sync photos on ongoing basis from Google photos. 

  Phone > Google Photos > Amber*
