Albums - "ascending/descending" order not usable

Albums currently have a sorting option that is functionally useless as it is not sorting by the most common criterion, file name, and there is not option to change the criterion it is using. Which is odd, as images are sorted by name in folders. This means that images added to an album cannot be viewed in a desired order.
