No scroll playing mp4 video

Hi Steve,
There is a possibility that these files are still being transcoded. With that being said, I just uploaded 2 mp4 files to Amber X (~17MB & 900MB) and am able to scroll through the timestamp. You can contact us or create a ticket here if you need further assistance: https://support.myamberlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035446512

I created these mp4 files with software that rips DVDs. Did I pick the wrong "mp4" output format? When I select these files, the screen shows
Loading...... then Transcoding...please wait
Any suggestions? Thanks!

According to the message, it is probably still transcoding. We suggest you wait (times will vary depending on the workload) or you can share the video file with us at latticeworkla@gmail.com if you would like us to give it a try.

I neglected to say that after the "Transcoding...please wait" goes away, then the video plays...without a scroll bar. I'm getting the same lack of scrollbar on Android and IOS devices. Also, when I play the video on a Windows 11 laptop connected to the local network, I get the scroll bar. I uploaded the file from AmberX to Dropbox and played it there and it had a scroll bar there. The software I'm using is a few years old, is there such a thing as an old mp4 standard? I emailed a 12.1MB file to the gmail account. Hope it's not too big to go through!

Shoot. The video file I sent works on Amber. The scroll bar is at the very bottom of the screen. Now I'm more confused. From the one DVD, there were 5 titles that were ripped in a single batch to produce 5 mp4 files. So all five files should have the same characteristics. The 12 MB file I emailed, the smallest for email purposes, played with a scrollbar as does a13MB file. The other three are 100, 200, and 212 MBs in size and in the place of a scroll bar, there is a banner that says "Video Live Streaming." Is there a file size issue here?

With your test file, I saw the "Video Live Streaming" after uploading. A few minutes later, it played fine with the scroll bar. I think check back tomorrow - the transcoding process does take some time. When were the files uploaded?

I recognize this thread is 2 years old, however I have a similar issue, even with the latest 1.37 release. I have an 8TB external HDD connected via USB to my Amber. I'm able to stream via HDMI occasional large (>1GB) video files directly from the external drive, but more often than not Amber yields the error "The streaming device does not support this operation." I found a work around by copying the large files I'd like to stream back to the Amber. Is there a bug in the mix, or am I expecting too much? Thanks in advance.
