Backup, indexing, and transcoding services will stop when the available storage on Amber X falls below 10%. We recommend attaching an external USB storage to Amber X and copying files over using the Backup Tool in Amber X OS or a backup service such as FreeFileSync (https://freefilesync.org/). While manually migrating large amounts of data, there is a possibility of failure whereas using a backup service is more stable and is more likely to complete the task.
Note: You may need to map Amber X as a network drive in order to use it with third-party services such as FreeFileSync. Please see the articles below:
1. Select the source folder to backup.
2. Select the destination folder to back up to.
3. Synchronize. After synchronizing is complete, check that the source files have been copied to the destination.
